APPLYING

Workplan Summary, 2010

    • Delaware River Watershed Protection Initiative

Submitted Grants for February 2010

2008 Grant money (old)

  • The November 2nd meeting has been cancelled.

  • We confirmed with Chuck Barscz of the National Park Service that the Wild and Scenic Lower Delaware River will no longer be supporting mini (small) grants.

National Park Service has also closed the grant process for the year. This means that the $28,000 will go to an existing and approved grant, in this case the Delaware Experience education program.  The Management Committee voted to approve to amend this grant at its October meeting.

We have been informed there will be plenty of money and time to apply for 2010 money.  Grants should be regional and benefit a broad base.

  • A $25,000 grant was unanimously approved by membership to extend the baseline water testing project, already in place, to develop a fundamental water “signature” before any drilling begins in Nockamixon Township.
2009 GRANTS
  • The 2009 grant money has been allocated to the DRBC for additional Point of Discharge testing and monitoring
Wild & Scenic Baseline Water Sampling Program - Status and Schedule
  • Baseline water sampling starting Thursday and Friday - August 13th and 14th, 2009
    • COMPLETED
