Meeting called to order by the Pennsylvania Co- Chair, Nancy Janyszeski

 

In attendance: Pennsylvania Co Chair: Nancy Janyszeski, PA Vice-Chair: Mick Drustrup, New Jersey Co Chair: Carol Hoffmann and Chris Testa, NJ Vice-Chair, members of the Management Committee, National Park Service (NPS) not in attendance.

Grant Discussion- Mick Drustrup

Motion : N. Janyszeski, 2 nd: V. Sigstedt $25,000 amend baseline water testing, aquatic macroinvertebrate - Motion passed

Motion: P. Stubbs, 2 nd: R. McNutt for education program – Motion tabled

Motion: P. Stubbs, 2 nd: R. McNutt if NPS says no to accept new grant applications, defaults to environmental education program – Motion passed

 

Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 2, 2009 in either Bridgeton or Milford to accept additional grants based on response from the NPS.

– Deadline for grant application October 26, 2009

 

C. Testa – Milford Mill Discussion

 

R. Lembeck, discussion on the Point of discharge DRBC grant. In field within a month, 1 st = 90 discharge locations. 2K water quality model. What is the scope of work for 2009 funds, value of grant?

 

 

Action Items: Discuss grant applications with NPS, Regional EAC and a Presentation from DRBC.
