Lower Delaware Wild and Scenic Quarterly meeting –
Frenchtown NJ April 05, 2010

7:00 pm

In attendance: Carol Hoffmann, NJ – Chair, Nancy Janyszeski, PA – Chair and Mick Drustrup, PA vice Chair, Julie Bell- National Park Service. Chris Testa NJ vice Chair arrived after the meeting opened.

Minutes of February 01, 2010 minutes approved by the management committee

Our speaker John MacFarland spoke on the relationship between the watershed and the local Indians.

Public Comment: Stockton is celebrating it's 300th year

Discussion: NJ vice Chair, Chris Testa Stream restoration opportunities/projects

Reports: PA vice Chair, Mick Drustrup – Grants new procedures. Water testing

Motion M.Drustup, 2 nd by C.Hoffman to support up to $1,000 the American Rivers Delaware River Cleanup. Early June. Motion passed.

Report: N. Janyszeski, Callicoon NY forum on gas drilling

Report: National Park Service J. Bell

Discussion: Nomination Committee. B.Daniello, M.Waldock of New Jersey and V. Sigsted are on the committee, T. Lurz volunteered to be the 2 nd Pennsylvania committee member.

Next meeting date in NJ tentatively set for June 7, 2010
